Bioland’s organic lentils are cultivated with respect for ancient traditions and the land itself. Grown through a crop rotation system that naturally enriches the soil, these small-diameter lentils are rich in fiber, minerals, and vitamins. They are manually cleaned due to their ancient, delicate nature – making each pack a result of careful and sustainable agriculture.
At Bioland, we follow organic farming methods with a closed supply chain. Our lentils are grown using crop rotation, which improves soil nitrogen content naturally. As a result, our legumes contribute to the health of the environment and of those who consume them.
This variety of ancient lentils has a particularly small diameter, making them more difficult to calibrate using modern machines. For this reason, production is limited, and every batch is manually refined to preserve its nutritional properties and authenticity.
Known as “the meat of the poor,” lentils have been a vital protein source since ancient times. Their consumption dates back to the earliest agricultural civilizations.
Our lentils are packaged with care and available in 500 g bags or 25 kg sacks, suitable for both families and professional kitchens.
